Ari Ghosal, Esq:
After decades of leadership, CSIE’s founder Dave Ghosal P.E. retired effective August 28, 2024. The Board of Directors have elected Ari Ghosal, Esq. as the new President, effective August 29, 2024. Ari Ghosal has been leading CSIE as its Chief Operating Officer since June 2021 and has served CSIE on and off since 2003. On his vision for the Company, Ari Ghosal said “CSIE will continue to focus on providing customers best in class engineering design, consulting and staffing services; we are positioned to grow; our employees are the Company’s greatest strength.” Ari oversees the overall growth, sustainability and expansion of the company. He works closely across all departments including Engineering, Staffing and other corporate functions. In addition to his now decades long experience with CSIE, Ari Ghosal Esq. has been a practicing lawyer representing variety of businesses, entrepreneurs and owners on general corporate matters, regulatory/compliance and business issues for over 20 years. Ari was named a 2020 Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation by the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Bar Foundation.
Maryland Bar Foundation Fellows are MSBA members who have demonstrated “outstanding dedication and contribution to maintaining the honor and integrity of the legal profession, the improvement and facilitation of the administration of justice, the work of the organized Bar of Maryland and civic leadership.”
Ari has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Maryland, a Master’s degree from American University, a Juris Doctor from Catholic University Columbus School of Law, where he was on Catholic Univ. Law Review, Staff Editor; clerked for federal judge in Washington D.C. and is licensed as an attorney in the state of Maryland and District of Columbia, and in state and federal courts in those jurisdictions, along with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Robert Laufer, P.E.:
Robert Laufer, P.E., Vice President of Engineering has been elected by the Board of Directors as Corporate Secretary. A cum laude graduate from Stevens Institute of Technology and a member of Chi Phi Fraternity, Rob worked for several global engineering companies prior to joining CSIE in early 2005. Rob started as an Electrical Project Engineer and worked his way up to overseeing the entire Engineering operation of CSIE. Presently, Rob leads CSIE’s Engineering Department across multiple projects within residential, healthcare, educational, transportation and government sectors. Rob is a Professional Engineer currently holding licenses in Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida and Nevada.
